Where the original movie left off finds Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Rayden, Princess Kitana and Johnny Cage up against emperor Shao Kahn and his extermination squad led by Ermac, Motaro, Sheeva and Rain. Kahn&#39;s plan is to merge Earthrelam with Outworld into one realm by resurrecting Kitana&#39;s mother, Queen Sindel. After the death of Johnny Cage, the warriors flee from Liu Kang&#39;s temple where Rayden tells them there are no more rules because Shao-Kahn broke them and the only way they can defeat him is to bring peace into Sindel&#39;s spirit and they have seven days to do it. Rayden then sends Sonya to find her partner Jax, while Kitana and Liu Kang go looking for Nightwolf so he can help them defeat Shao Kahn. I don&#39;t want to spend my time to review this movie...so i&#39;ll just make a few points.<br/><br/>1. Bad acting except a Robin Shou and a few minor performances.<br/><br/>2. Awful Script.<br/><br/>3. Overloaded with to many characters for one MK film.<br/><br/>4. The worst casting ever.<br/><br/>5.CGI was horrible even worst than the first film.<br/><br/>there are more i could point out but i can&#39;t be bothered to waste my time...stay away from this movie and enjoy the First MK and perhaps when MK3 comes out there&#39;ll be an improvement. The first MK was brainless fun with good martial arts and fx. This one is a whole lot different, in lots of bad ways. There is no real martial arts and not even a hint of a story. The effects consists of twisted color schemes and photo-shop plug-ins. It&#39;s about as bad as SpaceTruckers. Here's the lowdown on the latest chapter in Mortal Kombat: deadly dull. J.J.
